As franchise owner and principal broker for Metro City Mortgages, Jill strives to motivate her team to not only specialize in arranging mortgage financing, but to assist in educating clients by offering solutions to every different financial circumstance while bringing the top rates and products through lender loyalty programs and business relationships.

Jill, along with her husband Tony, owns four franchise locations across eastern Ontario and the capital region including Pembroke, Belleville, Stittsville and the head office location in Ottawa. As a native of the town of Richmond, just west of Ottawa, Jill is very familiar with the Ottawa Valley Region and her local community.

After spending time in the travel industry, Jill found her niche in the financial world starting as a self-employed bookkeeper. From there, she realized the need for change and focused on her ability to interact with the public, which led a friend to introduce her to mortgage brokering. After taking courses in mortgages, real estate, appraisals, brokering and high performance coaching, Jill was instantly drawn to the industry. After being in the mortgage broker industry for over 18 years now, Jill is still focused on making Metro City Mortgages a leader and innovator in brokerages across Canada. Jill also has the official recognition of Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and is an original member of Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario (IMBA).

Jill has adopted a business philosophy that focuses on on-the-job training, mentoring programs, and innovative approaches that are rarely offered or focused on within the industry. Using her background in coaching and leadership, Jill has made taking the time to develop an agent/employee relationship a priority of her business. 

As a Dominion Lending Centres franchise, Jill and her team strive to exceed the expectations of both clients and business partners. Working together as a team, Metro City Mortgages is proud to have made the list of top twenty Dominion Lending Centres franchises each month consecutively since signing on in March of 2010.

Jill has a strong appreciation for dedication, commitment and loyalty in her team and business partners. Bringing a clear level of transparency throughout the company and its activities helps to achieve a level of mutual respect among the members of the Metro City Mortgages Team.
